Kristin Algoe MD
Certifications: Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Education: Dr. Algoe graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed her residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Experience: During her residency, Dr. Algoe received several awards including, the “Arnold P. Gold Award for Excellence and Humanism in Teaching,” the “Award for Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery,” and the “Resident Researcher Award.” After completing four years of OB/GYN residency training, she joined Sandpoint Women’s Health in 2009. In 2020, Dr. Algoe was honored with the “Excellence in Teaching” award from UW School of Medicine/WWAMI OBGYN Clerkship Program.
Lindsay Conner MD
Certifications: Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Education: Dr. Conner attended received her MD/MPH from the University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah, and completed her residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center, Asheville, North Carolina.
Experience: Joining Sandpoint Women’s Health in August 2020, Dr. Conner has more than six years of specialty experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys all aspects of her practice– particularly the close bonds she forms with patients—and is especially interested in minimally invasive surgery, prenatal assessments, infertility, menopause, and pediatric and adolescent gynecological care.
She treats every patient uniquely and works in partnership to determine their course of care. A great workday for her is composed of visiting and working with women of all ages, composed of both new and familiar faces. This includes providing care in the community, clinic, labor and delivery room, and operating room.
Amelia Huntsberger MD
Certifications: Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Education: Dr. Huntsberger graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Michigan.
Experience: Dr. Huntsberger first came to Sandpoint as a medical student for 6 months in 2007 as part of WWAMI Rural Integrated training experience. She is the Idaho Section Chair for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Idaho Maternal Mortality Review Committee and the Idaho Perinatal Project Advisory Board.
Morgan Morton MD
Certifications: Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Education: Dr. Morton graduated from The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed her residency at The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Experience: Dr. Morton is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. During her residency, she received several awards including, the “Award for Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery,” and the “Resident Researcher Award.”
Laci Burk FNP-BC
Certifications: Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Education: Laci graduated with her master’s in nursing from Montana State University. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Maine Fort Kent. She completed a preceptorship in women’s health.
Experience: Laci worked as a nurse for 5 years prior to completing her master’s. She has worked in women’s health and primary care including as a surgical first assist.
