“I’m looking forward to getting to know the people of Sandpoint and establishing long-lasting relationships with my patients.”

Nichole Grimm, FNP

After spending a summer as a fly-fishing guide in the backcountry of Alaska, Nichole Grimm found herself passionate about healthcare spending her days off in native villages and watching how a small team of fly-in nurse practitioners could transform the health of a community in need. This passion for serving others transitioned into a graduate degree at Gonzaga University in 2011 as a family nurse practitioner, and she enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan. Prior to finishing an advanced practice nursing degree, she graduated from Montana State University and worked for several years as an emergency room and critical care nurse. Nichole particularly enjoys pediatrics, adolescent health, and women’s health and is honored to partner with many local families as their primary care provider.

Nichole is privileged to serve the community of Sandpoint as a volunteer provider and board member of a free health care clinic and is engaged with the local community and school events. In her free time, she and her husband are joyfully raising two children, and Nichole enjoys hiking, snow-shoeing, fly-fishing, and oil painting.

Nichole believes that empowering her patients to be active participants in their healthcare through education and a strong patient-provider relationship can lead to patients achieving their health goals. She views her role as providing support for the patient while focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and practicing evidence-based medicine.
