Several generations serve on the board to ensure exceptional health care for all of Sandpoint’s citizens and visitors. Snowbirds, sunbirds, and those just passing through rely on BGH for compassionate care whenever needed. Regularly scheduled meetings reinforce our core values:

Your Bonner General Health Foundation brings the latest developments in achieving optimum health for our friends, neighbors, and visitors through education and media.

The Foundation hosts events, fundraisers, and giving campaigns throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for BGH.

As a community-staffed and supported organization, our positive results reflect the spirit of teamwork and generosity that thrives in Sandpoint, Idaho.

With your support, the foundation has raised over one million dollars through the generosity of the community.

We work closely with the senior leadership team at BGH to identify needs to improve the care we provide to our community.

Through hosting fundraisers, events, and various campaigns throughout the year, the Foundation receives funds to be distributed to BGH to meet the greatest need.

Here is what your recent contributions went toward:

• Emergency Department Remodel
• Ophthalmology Clinic Equipment
• Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic Equipment
• Orthopedic Surgical Table
• Obstetrics Department Remodel

When a BGH Department has a smaller need that we may have extra funds to cover, we do so through our Hometown Health Grants Program. This is an internal grant program where managers can submit proposals for various funding needs.

We are dedicated to keeping quality healthcare close to home. We rely on supporters like you to contribute to meeting the healthcare needs in our community.
