Intensive Care Unit

Bonner General Health’s Intensive Care Unit provides intensive care to seriously ill patients whose conditions require advanced levels of monitoring and care.  We treat patients with serious medical and/or surgical conditions, as well as stabilize patients being transferred to other facilities.

Our Intensive Care staff cares for patients of all age groups with four private beds, and the capacity to have up to six patients. We also provide remote cardiac telemetry monitoring and respiratory function monitoring for patients in other departments.  Outpatient services are also provided on an as needed basis, such as Cardioversions or Cardiac Loop Recorder insertions.

Our highly trained interdisciplinary team is lead by a Hospitalist who is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Registered Nurses are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale assessment, Moderate Sedation, and Crisis Prevention Intervention.

Together, our interdisciplinary of physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and ancillary departments, strives to provide excellence in quality, compassionate care with a high degree of professionalism, knowledge, and skill with the patient as our central focus.
